Free access to public information

The Law on Free Access to Public Information enables access to public information created or held by the State Audit Office.

The applicant may request access to information orally, in writing, or electronically. A request submitted in electronic form is considered a written request.

A written request may be submitted to the State Audit Office directly at the archive; by post mail to “Pavel Shatev” St. no. 2, Palata Emanuel Chuchkov, 1000 Skopje; or in electronic form via email to: [email protected] and [email protected].

The request for access to public information may be submitted using the prescribed Request Form or on a plain sheet of paper. The applicant must indicate that the request is based on the Law on Free Access to Public Information.

The applicant is not required to explain the request.

If the request is submitted by an authorized representative, appropriate power of attorney must be enclosed with the request. If the applicant makes an oral request for access to information, the responsible official prepares a written record of it.
