Participation of SAO delegation at the XI Congress of EUROSAI
SAO delegation headed by Auditor General Maksim Acevski participated in the XI Congress of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) and due to the global pandemic with Covid-19, for the first time the Congress was held online through an online platform.
EU Council Monitoring Mission for LSGUs
Subject of interest of the monitoring mission were the measures taken to implement recommendations of the 329th Congress held in 2012 in the area of local democracy in our country

The twinning project will be implemented with EU twinning partners – the State Audit Office of Croatia and the National Audit Office of Bulgaria - the main goal is to improve efficiency and impact of external audit in the Republic of North Macedonia
Health Insurance Fund has no defined criteria for selection of healthcare institutions for treatment abroad
The Fund has not established appropriate monitoring system and does not analyze the effects of treatments in medical institutions abroad and in the country where the approved treatment was completed, nor their effectiveness
Ministry of Culture spent 379 million denars for printing 599 000 books
Since 2009 the Ministry has started 11 capital projects for printing books, some of which are still ongoing, as of 2019, approximately 379 million denars were spent on 599086 books that are not distributed to end users and kept in stock
