On 6 and 7 November 2023, Auditor General Maksim Acevski and Deputy Auditor General Orhan Ademi hosted a delegation from the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic headed by the SAI President Mr. Ľubomír Andrassy.
As part of the bilateral meeting, the Heads of both SAIs signed Memorandum of Cooperation, thus undertaking joint commitments and activities for continuous professional and technical cooperation aimed at strengthening professional capacities for promotion of accountable and effective external audit.
The representatives of both SAIs had presentations and discussed on several topics and areas related to HR development through continuous proffesional education and training of employees, as well as performance indicators for SAIs operation.
Auditors General together with the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to North Macedonia, H.E. Henrik Markuš held meetings with the President of the Assembly Mr. Talat Xhaferi, as well as with UNDP Resident Representative Mr. Armen Grigoryan and UNDP Regional Director in Istanbul, Ms. Steliana Nedera.
