Under the motto "In a world full of 0 positives, let's be someone's AB negative - rare and necessary", the State Audit Office in cooperation with the Institute for Transfusion Medicine and the Red Cross of RNM organized voluntary blood donation.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the first State Audit Law (1997) and 23 years of hard and successful work of the State Audit Office (1999), proving its role as a credible and independent institution with high integrity for supervision of public funds and protection of citizens’ interests, on 20 December 2022 SAO organized voluntary blood donation for the second time.
Around 30 SAO employees selflessly showed their humanity in action by donating blood with the aim of raising awareness about voluntary blood donation, thereby saving lives and building solidarity in our society.
Blood donation is the most important social service for humanity and an exclusively voluntary action, which could save one’s life. Only one donated bag of blood could save 3 to 4 human lives.
With this initiative, which SAO will continue organizing, the supreme audit institution in RNM wants to contribute to the healthcare system as a socially responsible institution.
