At the invitation of EUROSAI President, representatives of EUROSAI members took part in a two-day Post-Congress Get-Together in Prague.
The objective of this event was to discuss on providing appropriate response to the challenges of modern times in order to deliver added value to citizens. In this regards, EUROSAI members were encouraged to cooperate more closely in finding new tools, audit methodologies and procedures.
Another focus of the event was exchange of knowledge and experience on topics of special interest for external audit through active participation of all participants in several working sessions.
Opinions were exchanged regarding implementation of international auditing standards, follow-up of implementation of audit recommendations, tax audits, digitized projects, environment, etc. On these sessions was also reviewed the role of supreme audit institutions in the fight against corruption, as well as visualization, publication and impact of audits on increasing transparency of public administration.
Mr. Ademi attended the meeting organized by EUROSAI President Miroslav Kala, where EUROSAI 2024-2030 Strategic Plan was discussed, as well as the work and achievements of the State Audit Office.
This Get-Together included number of activities, including the reception of SAI representatives by the President of the Czech Republic Mr. Miloš Zeman, where he discussed the importance of the Supreme Audit Institutions within the constitutional system, as well as the benefits of international cooperation in the field of audit.
