Auditor General Maksim Acevski held a working meeting with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the Republic of North Macedonia Mr. Armen Grigoryan and the Head of Democratic Governance Unit Mrs. Biljana Cvetanovska Gugoska.
Auditor General and UNDP Resident Representative discussed about current topics and implementation of future joint activities aimed at strengthening auditors’ capacity for audit of accrual financial statements, value for money audit, audit of SDGs, as well as audits of LSGUs.
UNDP Resident Representative expressed satisfaction with SAO activities as a supreme audit institution and proposed holding regular meetings between UNDP and SAO representatives for implementing joint activities that would be formalized by signing Memorandum of Cooperation.
Auditor General expressed gratitude for the strong UNDP support and hope that the success story of this cooperation will continue and develop in the future.
