The State Audit Office has started preparations for the 2026 Annual Work Program and invites all stakeholders to submit requests and proposals for entities and areas of public interest they believe should be included.
The SAO Annual Work Programme for 2026 will be submitted to the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia by the end of December for information purposes.
In determining priorities, the SAO adheres to the criteria of INTOSAI professional standards, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the National Development Strategy 2024–2044, as well as the strategic commitments defined in the SAO Audit Strategic Plan 2024–2027.
