On 26-27 September, SAO delegation led by Auditor General Maksim Acevski visited Belgrade for a bilateral working meeting at the State Audit Institution of the Republic of Serbia as part of the cooperative performance audit on the topic "Urban Planning of Green Infrastructure in Cities.”
Expressing gratitude for the hosts' hospitality, Auditor General highlighted his satisfaction with the quality of the completed activities, noting that the upcoming period will involve activities related to the reporting phase and the preparation of draft/final audit reports. Successful cooperation between the two institutions, through exchange of knowledge and experiences between the audit teams of both countries is essential for this cooperative audit and will provide added value to the work of SAIs, contributing to better spatial planning and maintenance and development of green infrastructure, emphasized Mr. Acevski in his introductory remarks.
At the bilateral meeting, representatives from both institutions presented the results from the execution phase of the cooperative performance audit on the topic "Urban Planning of Green Infrastructure in Cities".
