Under the 2024 Annual Work Program and Article 85 of the Electoral Code, the State Audit Office conducted a financial audit along with a compliance audit of the total financial reports of the election campaign accounts of all participants in the 2024 Parliamentary Elections.
The audit covered the total financial reports of the transaction accounts for election campaign of the following:
- Coalition “For a European Future” led by SDSM;
- Coalition “Your Macedonia” led by VMRO-DPMNE;
- Coalition “Bravely for Macedonia” led by Citizens’ Option for Macedonia – GROM;
- Coalition “European Front” led by DUI;
- Political Party Levica;
- Coalition VLEN led by Alternativa;
- Movement ZNAM – For Our Macedonia;
- United Macedonia;
- Political Party New Alternative Skopje;
- Political Party AVAJA;
- European Civic Movement;
- Macedonian Third Era / Macedonian Independent Lists;
- Your Party;
- Rodina Macedonia;
- Political Party DESNA;
- Political Party DEMOCRATI Skopje; and
- Workers’ Party.
A separate audit report was prepared for each campaign participant, expressing an opinion on the total financial report and compliance with the relevant legal framework, guidelines, and established policies.
