From 4-6 September 2023, the management of SAIs of North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo are participating in a leadership workshop organized by the SAI of Sweden.
The workshop was opened by welcome and keynote addresses by SAO Auditor General Maksim Acevski, the Chairman of Albanian SAI Dr. Arben Shehu, Auditor General of Kosovo NAO Vlora Spanca and the Head of International Affairs of SAI Sweden Eva Theisz.
Auditor General Acevski emphasized that the only way to set up successful and functional model for managing an institution is to invest in continuous education for strengthening knowledge and skills of employees through exchange of experience and good practices.
In the context of the workshop topic, Mr. Acevski quoted Nelson Mandela “learning is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world”, which reminds us that education has the power to change lives and open doors to new opportunities and ideas. Education not only empowers the individual, but has the potential to transform the entire world.
Through practical examples and open discussion, the participants presented their activities and achieved results and shared their experience on communication between management and employees with the aim to set up successful practices and new leadership methods.
