The State Audit Office once again provided humanitarian assistance demonstrating solidarity and humanity.
Auditor General Maksim Acevski, on behalf of all SAO employees, expressed deep sympathy, solidarity and sadness for the suffering and lost lives, as well as material damage in Slovenia caused by the terrible floods few days ago.
SAO allocated modest 100.000 denars as support for the families of the victims in Slovenia, paid to the account of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia - Solidarity Fund Skopje,
Auditor General strongly believes that humanity and ethics as SAO principles will be an incentive for other institutions, organizations and citizens to follow the example of humanity and solidarity.
To quote Albert Schweitzer as a guiding maxim "The first step in the evolution of ethics is a sense of solidarity with other human beings”.
