To mobilize involved institutions and their role in the explanatory screening of the accession negotiations of the Republic of North Macedonia to the European Union, Auditor General Maksim Acevski met with Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichic.
Auditor General emphasized SAO preparedness as supreme audit institution to make a significant and active contribution with its expertise, knowledge and professionalism to the explanatory screening, in particular for Chapter 5 - Public procurement and Chapter 3.32 - Financial control.
Vice Prime Minister for European Affairs highlighted the need for highest commitment and engagement of all stakeholders in this process, with the aim of taking advantage of the opportunity given on the way to full EU membership.
