US Embassy in North Macedonia organized a roundtable on "Improving Communication and Cooperation between the State Audit Office, the Public Prosecutor's Office of RNM and the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption".
At the round table, SAO, PPO and SCPC representatives presented the cooperation and communication between the three institutions and pointed out possible ways of improvement and the way forward.
Mr. Cole Radovich, Resident Legal Advisor in the US Embassy, Mr. Ljubomir Joveski, Public Prosecutor of RNM, Ms. Biljana Ivanovska, President of SCPC and Mr. Maksim Acevski, Auditor General addressed the Round Table attendees.
Auditor General Maksim Acevski and Secretary General Aleksandar Popovski discussed the effects and benefits of signed memorandum of cooperation with both the Public Prosecutor's Office and the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, and the manner of exchange of information with these institutions.
Following the valuable discussion, conclusion was reached for intensifying cooperation, organizing continuous joint educational events and meetings aimed at increasing exchange of data and information of common interest.
