At the invitation of the President of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia Jana Ahčin, a delegation from the State Audit Office headed by Auditor General Maksim Acevski, participated in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Court of Audit on 8-9 December 2024, at the Brdo Congress Center in Slovenia.
The celebration was attended by high officials of the Republic of Slovenia, all former Presidents of the Court of Audit, leaders and representatives of the supreme audit institutions of Croatia, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary, and senior representatives from the European Court of Auditors.
Following President Ahčin's address, the event also featured speeches by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, and the President of the European Court of Auditors (ECA), Tony Murphy.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to deepen cooperation between audit institutions, hold bilateral meetings and discussions with delegations from other state audit institutions, strengthen international cooperation, and share best audit practices.
