Today, Auditor General Maksim Acevski held a meeting with the Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Dr. Vesna Janevska.
The discussion focused on key findings from final audit reports on brain drain of highly educated and skilled people from the country, conditions of student dormitories, as well as development of student standard, aimed at implementation and acting upon the recommendations of the State Audit Office.
The Minister of Education and Science highlighted the significance and role of the State Audit Office as supreme audit institution in the country, as well as that state audits are key instrument for improving effectiveness and efficiency of the use of public funds within public institutions.
