The successful bilateral cooperation between the supreme audit institutions of the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of North Macedonia was an incentive for a new initiative of the representatives of the SAI Norway to pay a working visit to the State Audit Office
SAO delegation headed by Auditor General Maksim Acevski and Deputy Auditor General Orhan Ademi had the opportunity to present and discuss proposals for implementation of future joint activities in several areas to be defined in the upcoming period.
The State Audit Office and the Office of the Auditor General of Norway have in the past successfully implemented the project "Improving efficiency and quality of audit work by implementing audit management system (AMS)". The project activities resulted in upgrading SAO IT infrastructure, which in turn contributed to the improvement in the performance of state audit.
