At the invitation of Auditor General of Kosovo Ms. Vlora Spanca, Auditor General Maksim Acevski and Deputy Auditor General Orhan Ademi with their colleagues paid official visit to the National Audit Office of Kosovo.
At the meeting, Auditor General Spanca presented the competences of the audit institution and the latest developments in Kosovo SAI, in particular the audit process and the Annual Audit Plan for 2022/23, which covers several areas and topics of interest to the country and the citizens.
Auditor General Acevski expressed gratitude for the invitation and highlighted the results achieved by the State Audit Office in creating efficient control environment and safeguarding public funds presented in SAO Annual Report on performed audits and operation for 2021.
At the meeting, Assistant Auditor General Rosica Shalevic Hristovska presented public finances and financial control in the country, while Head of Audit Maja Jovanovska Cvetkovski informed about the cooperation of SAO with the Assembly.
At the end of the meeting, it was concluded that this cooperation will be further developed through exchange of experience and knowledge between the institutions in the future, with the aim of raising the level of quality of external audit in the public funds management in both countries.
